Sustainability & circularity
At CIRAMAT in Delémont, Switzerland, we redefine acoustic insulation by transforming demolished construction debris into high-performance, fire-rated acoustic boards. Discover our closed-loop approach to sustainable building materials.

Regional sourcing and closed-loop transformation
We source our raw minerals directly from regional renovation and building sites. In close partnership with our local waste management partner GOTRI, recovered mineral components are meticulously sorted, cleaned, and precisely calibrated. This regional focus minimizes transit miles, eliminates landfill burden, and preserves vital resources.

Up to 80% lower embodied carbon
Traditional acoustic cores rely on energy-intensive extraction and synthetic binders. Ciramat's SonoBloc™ combines low-energy manufacturing with repurposed minerals to deliver a 50% to 80% lower CO2 equivalent per square meter. The resulting composite mineral board achieves a Class A2 fire rating alongside sound remitter and spring board acoustic performance.

Urban mining as extended lifespan
With majority cities targeting lower CO2 levels and reaching more circularity success in the cities, we present such opportunity as available business model. Our production model can also be licensed for regional deployment worldwide. Request our comprehensive product brochure to explore technical specifications and environmental life cycle data.
